Caitlyn began her softball journey at just 7 years old and hasn’t stopped pitching since. She graduated from Blackman High School in 2019, where she was the starting pitcher all four years, leading her team through a historic run. In her senior year, Caitlyn took her team to sectionals, marking the farthest the school had ever advanced. She helped achieve an impressive 36-9 record (11-1 in district play) and boasted a career ERA of 2.74 with 525 strikeouts. Caitlyn was honored as the district pitcher of the year in 2019 and earned all-district player recognition for three consecutive years.
After high school, she continued her academic and athletic journey at Tennessee State University, pitching there for three years. Throughout her career at TSU, she logged 457.1 innings pitched with an overall ERA of 3.55, accumulating 35 wins and 291 strikeouts. Notably, Caitlyn achieved the first 100+ strikeout season in 10 years at TSU!
Krie is a kind, loving, empathetic child! On the field she cheers on her team and encourages them. Off the field she loves to hang out with her friends, go to jump parks, and swim! She’d be a mermaid if she could!
